Leadership roles are important to carry out the vision of every chapter in their pursuit of practicing humanism in medicine. As such, GHHS presents on the different leadership roles and their relevant responsibilities as they should be distributed amongst students and faculty. Furthermore, mentoring is an essential aspect of connecting with students in medical school and beyond. Therefore, we share a few of the mentoring practices our chapters have engaged in by categories of undergraduate, medical school year, and residency programming. For more information, visit the GHHS Chapter Toolkit: Chapter Leadership and/or GHHS Chapter Toolkit: Chapter Structure and Governance.
GHHS Advisory Council member Betsy Toll presents on the responsibilities and organization of chapter leadership.
The following document provides a number of mentoring programs and ideas collected from our national chapters on how to connect with students across all years of UME and residents.
