The GHHS Nominating Committee periodically seeks those who are passionate about advancing humanism in healthcare through the Gold Humanism Honor Society to serve on a GHHS Sub-Committee and help guide the future of the organization.

  • GHHS Chapter Affairs Committee — dedicated to supporting the work of GHHS chapters around the world and promoting active, robust, humanistic communities in our member schools. It provides resources, support groups, and a place where Chapter Advisors and student leaders can troubleshoot challenges, find guidance and mentoring, and forge connections with GHHS students and leaders and the Gold Foundation staff.
  • GHHS Wellness Sub-Committee — aims to change the culture of wellness in medicine by identifying and addressing gaps in the physical, social, and emotional well-being of all healthcare professionals, to support colleagues and offer the best patient care.
  • Humanism in Practice: Through Residency and Beyond Sub-Committee — works on identifying ways for GHHS members who have left medical school to stay actively engaged with Gold Foundation programming. The mission of the GHHS Humanism in Practice Sub-committee is to promote networking and create spaces for meaningful engagement beyond medical school among GHHS alumni members.
  • Program Committee — works closely with GHHS staff in planning and implementing national programming for its chapters and the Gold community.
