The Gold Humanism Honor Society was created in 2002 with three medical school chapters. We are thrilled to be celebrating 20 years, 180 chapters, and nearly 45,000 members. Look for special events throughout the year, including at our Annual Gala on June 9th. The conference will include a GHHS Day on May 7 with a toast to the 20 years and all those who made it possible and many other special surprises. Stay tuned!
The 2022 conference is drawn from the 2022 GHHS International Initiative of the same name, Healing the Heart of Healthcare. This theme is the focus of GHHS chapter work all year long. It is a call to reinforce our essential humanism and humanity, a multi-year initiative designed to continue creating the change that true humanistic healthcare requires.
