The Gold Foundation’s 2022 Annual Gala

Thank you to all who joined us in New York City and virtually on June 9th! Congratulations to all of the Gala honorees!

The Annual Gala marks a special time each year when the Gold Foundation gathers its community of doctors, nurses, students, healthcare education leaders, medical and nursing faculty and deans, corporate executives, patients, families, nonprofit partners, and supporters in a singular celebration of humanism in healthcare.

This year, for the first time since 2019, we were back in person at the Ziegfeld Ballroom in New York City, honoring gala celebrants as well as two extraordinary anniversaries: the 20th anniversary of the Gold Humanism Honor Society and the 5th anniversary of the Gold Corporate Council.

We were also delighted to welcome back Gold Trustee Dr. Kimberly Manning, a beloved voice of humanism in healthcare, as the gala host. The gala included a virtual option, so all Gold friends could join from across the world.

Support the Gold Foundation

The Arnold P. Gold Foundation champions humanism in healthcare, which we define as compassionate, collaborative, and scientifically excellent care. This Gold standard of care embraces all and targets barriers to such care. We empower experts, learners, and leaders to together create systems and cultures that support humanistic care for all.

Throughout the COVID-19 crisis, the world has witnessed the immense compassion and courage of doctors, nurses, and members of the whole healthcare team in their care of sick and dying patients.

At the Gold Foundation, we work to support such empathy and connection from the early days of training at medical and nursing schools through healthcare professionals’ entire careers. We are grateful to clinicians and leaders for their great care.
