Are you passionate about humanism in healthcare and looking for an exciting opportunity to contribute to an impactful event? Join us as a student volunteer for the 2026 Gold Humanism Summit, taking place September 16-18, 2026 at The Westin in Downtown Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania!

This summit will bring together healthcare leaders, clinicians, students, patients, and advocates who believe healthcare must be kind, safe, and trustworthy.

What the Summit Includes for Volunteers:

  • Free Summit Registration: Gain access to all sessions, keynote addresses, and workshops.
  • Conference Meals: Enjoy breakfast and lunch during the conference.
  • Summit T-Shirt: Receive an exclusive event t-shirt.

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

  • Transportation: Volunteers are responsible for arranging and covering their own travel expenses to and from the event.
  • Hotel Room: Hotel accommodations must be booked and paid for independently.
  • Additional Costs: Meals outside of the conference dining are at the volunteer’s expense.

Volunteer Opportunities:

These are examples of volunteer tasks. You may be asked to do other tasks, too, depending on the needs of the day.

  • Registration & Check-In: Assist with guest registration, check-in, and distributing event materials.
  • Session Support: Help facilitate workshops and sessions, manage attendee questions, and ensure everything runs smoothly. Provide logistical support to speakers and panelists, ensuring they have everything they need.
  • Reception Support: Assist with organizing social events, manage attendee flow, and help with event setup or breakdown.
  • Exhibitor Assistance: Help exhibitors with setup, breakdown, and provide support during the conference.
