14 new members join the GHHS Advisory Council

The Advisory Council of the Gold Humanism Honor Society came together on June 14-15, 2018, in Newark, New Jersey, for their annual in-person meeting. The GHHS Advisory Council is made up of medical students, residents, fellows, deans, institution officials, program directors, practicing physicians, GHHS Chapter Advisors, Tow Award winners, members at large, and a trustee of the Arnold P. Gold Foundation.

The Gold Humanism Honor Society Advisory Council welcomed 14 new members in 2018, expanding its group to 28 members in total. The GHHS Advisory Council recommends policies and activities for the honor society to The Arnold P. Gold Foundation board and staff, as well as assesses and responds to members’ needs to further the mission of GHHS.

The new members include three chapter advisors, four faculty members-at-large, two practicing physicians, and two resident/fellow members, and three student members.
