2021 GHHS Solidarity Week for Compassionate Patient Care

Save the Date for the 2021 Solidarity Week for Compassionate Patient Care – February 15-19!

GHHS Solidarity Week for Compassionate Patient Care is a weeklong celebration of humanistic care each year near Valentine’s Day. Gold Humanism Honor Society chapters, medical and nursing schools, and patient care institutions from across the country promote activities to celebrate their dedication to ensuring compassionate, patient-centered care.

If your organization or GHHS chapter plans to participate in Solidarity Week 2021, share your plans here!

In 2020, GHHS chapters held panel discussions on topics such as gentrification in West Philadelphia, Immigrant Health, and how to better care for our veterans. GHHS members baked, cooked, crafted, and put together gift baskets for their patients and their families, and most importantly spent hours harnessing a deep human connection with them. We are grateful to all of our members for the ongoing humanistic impact that they are having in their communities.
