Announcement as of January 1st, 2016
The Foundation recently completed a review of its grantmaking process. We will no longer be accepting proposals for grants above $5,000. Presidential Grants ($5,000 and below) for Programs are suspended until further notice. Check the website in June 2016 for further updates on Program Presidential Grants. Presidential Grants for Research are no longer offered. The following opportunities are still available:
- GHHS Chapter Activity Grants ($1,500 and below; accepted on a rolling basis)
- Grants for our Signature Programs
Funding Guidelines
The Arnold P. Gold Foundation does not discriminate against any person or institution regardless of race, creed, ethnicity, religion, gender, age or sexual orientation in its grant making activities.
The Gold Foundation does not typically fund endowments, capital campaigns or scholarships and provides grants only to 501(c)(3) organizations.
We do not provide funding for hardware such a laptops or LCD projectors.
We do not fund work being done outside of the US or Canada.
It is the policy of The Arnold P. Gold Foundation that no dean’s tax, overhead or indirect expenses may be subtracted from the total grant amount by the administration of the school. All monies given by The Gold Foundation are to be used exclusively for the project.
