Now open: Applications and nominations for the GHHS Advisory Council

The GHHS Advisory Council and the GHHS staff convened for a lively meeting in Newark, New Jersey, in June 2017, with Co-founders Drs. Sandra and Arnold Gold in the middle of the group.

The Gold Humanism Honor Society (GHHS) of The Arnold P. Gold Foundation is now seeking nominations and applications for positions on its Advisory Council.  The Advisory Council provides leadership and guidance for the activities and affairs of the GHHS.

The GHHS Advisory Council meets four times a year, either via conference calls or at face-to-face meetings.

There currently are up to 12 open positions: two residents or fellows, one residency of fellowship program director, two undergraduate chapter advisors, up to two practicing physicians, and five positions for Members at Large. A demonstrated interest in humanism in medicine is required. You do not have to be a member of GHHS.

We are actively seeking leaders who have a serious interest in the flourishing of humanism in healthcare through the Gold Humanism Honor Society. Click here to view current list of Advisory Council members.
