Dr. Levine’s research has concentrated on K-12 teacher preparation and school reform. She recently directed the work of a Blue Ribbon Panel studying policies to transform teacher education and practice through more clinically based preparation - incorporating professional development schools, modeled on the concept of teaching hospitals. Dr. Levine also serves as the Chair of the Arnold P. Gold Foundation Program Committee.
