Lawrence G. Smith, MD

Dr. Lawrence Smith, MD, MACP, is the founding dean of the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell and the Executive Vice President and Physician-in-Chief at Northwell Health. Dr. Smith was formerly at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in Manhattan where he served as dean and chairman of medical education, founder and director of the school’s Institute for Medical Education, professor of medicine and an attending physician.
