Dr. Stern is a practicing general internist and the author of over 100 abstracts and papers on the topic, and is editor of "Measuring Medical Professionalism," funded by the Arnold P. Gold Foundation and published by Oxford University Press in 2006. He is currently working to improve patient care outcomes by ensuring the professional behavior of physicians. He is also a member of the Arnold P. Gold Foundation Grants Review Committee.
