We are delighted to share a very special viewing opportunity of a new Gold Human InSight Webinar featuring Emmy Award-winning actor Alan Alda and bestselling author Dr. Jillian Horton in a thought-provoking conversation.
This webinar will debut June 24th at noon and 3 p.m. EDT. To receive an access link, please sign up below.
This is a special opportunity to sign up to watch it early, before it goes on our website later in the year. We encourage you to include a donation to the Gold Foundation in your registration and further your support of humanism in healthcare.
Both leaders have been great advocates of humanism in healthcare. Dr. Jillian Horton is the author of We Are All Perfectly Fine, a bestselling memoir about one physician’s path through burnout to well-being, in large part through her work with Mindful Practice, an organization that collaborates with the Gold Foundation. A Canadian, she is the 2020 recipient of the prestigious AFMC-Gold Humanism in Healthcare Award. Dr. Horton has written powerfully about how Alan Alda’s character in the TV series M*A*S*H has influenced her path as a physician.
Alan Alda is an American actor, comedian and author and six-time Emmy Award and Golden Globe Award winner. He has a deep interest in science and served as a long-time host of Scientific American Frontiers. He founded Stony Brook University’s Alan Alda Center for Communicating Science, which has been featured in several Gold Human InSight Webinars. In 2018, Alan Alda was awarded the Gold Foundation’s National Humanism in Medicine Medal.
We are very excited to share this unforgettable conversation with you. To receive an access link to the streaming on June 24th, please register below:
