Enroll in “Humanism in Health & Healthcare” course in June 2020

Thank you for your interest in Dr. Jason Wasserman and Dr. Hedy Wald’s upcoming summer course that follows the “Humanism in Health & Healthcare” curriculum on NextGenU.org with a live cohort of students. The requirements for this 4-week summer course include weekly Zoom class sessions (90-120 minutes), held at 6 p.m. EDT on Tuesdays, June 9th, 16th, 23nd, and 30th, and short reflective writings, as well as peer reviews of one classmate’s writing per week.

This first cohort is being offered at no cost to students, thanks to the generous support of the Gold Foundation with the purpose of launching a new remote elective during the COVID-19 crisis. Credit must be arranged through the host educational institution of each student. Future sessions, which may include faculty cohorts, train-the-trainer, or other healthcare professions students, may have tuition. Note that it is the responsibility of the student to secure elective credit through their institution if they wish to receive credit.
