Happy Thanksgiving from all of us at the Gold Foundation
On this day of gratitude, the Gold Foundation staff and trustees want to thank all of you for 29 years of support. Without you, our mission of keeping healthcare human would have faltered on its first day, back in 1988.
Because of you, more than 450,000 new medical students have experienced the inspiring White Coat Ceremony and its reinforcement of compassionate care, our Gold Humanism Honor Society has grown to more than 30,000 students and faculty who serve as role models of empathy, our Picker-Gold grantees have undertaking research to make transformative change in healthcare, our Gold Student Summer Fellows are nurturing innovative, inclusive projects around the globe, and our Mapping the Landscape program has galvanized more than 350 researchers into a thriving community of practice.
Thank you for standing with us for humanism in healthcare.
On Giving Tuesday, give back by paying tribute to a medical student, a family member, a doctor, a nurse, or other caregiver who cared for you with compassion.
And help make the healthcare world better for everyone.
