115 institutions around the nation celebrated their residents

On February 22, 2019, the second annual Thank a Resident Day, 115 institutions made a special point to thank their residents for their endless hard work and support. Here are some of the ways our participants celebrated:

The University of Iowa celebrated their residents bright and early with a thank you breakfast
Two fourth-year medical students The Larner College of Medicine at UVM picked up stickers to hand out on their way to the hospital to thank the residents in person!
The Internal Medicine Residency at Mayo Clinic in Minnesota thanked their wonderful residents for their hard work, advocacy for patients, and endless curiosity and thirst for knowledge! They're also serving cupcakes and lunch!
The students, faculty and residents at The University of North Texas Health Science Center (UNTHSC) all enjoyed donated tacos and had the opportunity to reflect and share their gratitude
Uniformed Services University and Walter Reed National Military Medical Center celebrated #ThankaResidentDay to show their appreciation to their team.
