#ColoringCare pages by GHHS member Dr. Mike Natter

Coloring and creative expression can be cathartic, and the ongoing COVID crisis calls for both a celebration of our healthcare professionals and calming activities that help us all get through this, one day at a time. Coloring can be a therapeutic and fun activity, as the resurgence of adult coloring books has shown. We are calling this #ColoringCare.

Dr. Mike Natter, an artist, NYU Langone resident physician, and Gold Humanism Honor Society member, has created the first two #ColoringCare pages that allow you to express your creativity and celebrate healthcare professionals. We can’t wait to see how you color them!

Please feel free to download the PDFs below and print them out. If you share them, please give full credit to Dr. Natter. Thank you!

If you color a page, please feel free to share it with us! Tag us on Instagram or Twitter at @GoldFdtn. We will be creating a gallery on our website and will be sharing pages on social media. If you’ve colored a page and would like to submit it for inclusion in our website gallery and social media, please upload it here.

The Gold Foundation is considering creating a #ColoringCare book by many different artists. The funds would go to support the Gold Foundation and our programs that support future and current healthcare professionals and compassionate care for patients. If you are an artist and would like to share a coloring page you created with the Gold community, and for potential inclusion in a future coloring book, please email Brianne Alcala at balcala@gold-foundation.org.

You can follow Dr. Natter on Instagram (@mike.natter) and Twitter (@mike_natter) and on his website, where he sells prints of his art. A portion of each sale goes toward the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
