The Arnold P. Gold Foundation (APGF) is a supporting partner for the sixth annual Patient Experience: Empathy + Innovation Summit, a four-day, inter-professional conference held in Cleveland, Ohio from May 17-20.
The Summit brings together patient experience leaders, healthcare executives, nursing leaders, and other stakeholders to explore and discuss patient experience as a key differentiator essential to healthcare delivery. Attendees, numbering over 2000 and representing 49 states and 39 countries, will hear how organizations around the world strive to deliver the best clinical, physical and emotional experience to patients and families. Topics include Patient and Physician Engagement, Patient Experience Data and Metrics, and Creating a Culture to Support Patient Experience.
At this year’s Summit, Dr. Richard Levin, President and CEO of APGF, will be a plenary speaker giving a talk titled “Who is the Patient? Who is the Caregiver and What is Health?” Sharrie McIntosh, Senior Vice President and Chief Program Officer at APGF, will co-facilitate a workshop titled “Advancing the Triple C (Compassionate, Collaborative Care) on the Way to the Triple Aim” with Beth Lown, MD, from The Schwartz Center for Compassionate Healthcare.
