From February 29 to March 2, nearly 400 people came together at the 2024 Gold Humanism Summit in Atlanta to support the Gold Foundation’s mission of humanism in healthcare. The Summit included so many exciting keynotes, helpful workshops, engaging sessions, an art gallery, poster presentations, and much more.
The highlights were many. There was a surprise performance at the opening plenary by the New Manchester High School Jaguars Marching Band. Gold Foundation President/CEO Dr. Kathleen Reeves welcomed the hundreds of attendees and spoke passionately about seizing the moment and acting with purpose. The spectacular Dr. Kimberly Manning, a Gold Trustee and national voice of humanism, gave a powerhouse speech on humanism in action and the importance of recognizing the human being in front of you (which includes yourself).
Thank you to our hundreds of attendees, speakers, and the sponsors and exhibitors who made this year’s Gold Humanism Summit possible and fueled our mission for the future!
