Gold Human Insight Webinar with the Alda Center (Part II)

We’re in this Together: The Power of Connecting to Care in a Crisis, Part II

The Gold Foundation is teaming up with the Alda Center for Communicating Science at Stony Brook University to support health teams in this pandemic with a series of webinars. Part I, held earlier in May, explored the many aspects clinicians bring with them into the healthcare environment (the many “whos” that we are). View the video from Part I.

Part II, to be held 1:00 to 1:20 p.m. EDT on June 3, will offer time to reflect on and explore the various aspects both healthcare providers and patients bring to the care environment, as well as ways to facilitate communication beyond diagnoses and healthcare roles. These short 20-minute webinars are designed to carve out time for reflection in your busy schedule and will be taped and available later on the Gold Foundation website.

To register for Part II on June 3,  sign up here.

Both webinars are a collaboration between the Gold Human Insight Webinar Series and the Alda-Kavli Learning Center Webinars. Pia Pyne Miller, MPH, Senior Director of Strategy and Business Development, and Elizabeth Cleek, PsyD, Chief Operating Officer, will join Elizabeth Bojsza, Assistant Professor of Practice, and Susmita Pati, MD, MPH, Chief Medical Program Advisor, of the Alan Alda Center for Communicating Science®. The webinar will also be recorded and available later for viewing.
