3rd Annual Celebration of International Nurses Day at the United Nations

The Arnold P. Gold Foundation is pleased to be a part of the third annual celebration of International Nurses Day at the United Nations hosted by Nurses with Global Impact, Inc. The event on May 10, 2019, at the United Nations in New York, honored exemplary nurses who are making an impact on global healthcare. Read about last year’s event and the three nurses honored in 2018 through the Gold Foundation.

This year, the Gold Foundation facilitated a special keynote speaker, Marcus Engel. An educator and author, Mr. Engel presented “The Other End of the Stethoscope.” He and his wife have created the “I’m Here” movement, which is changing the culture of care with two simple words.
