St. George’s University’s White Coat Ceremony

Dr. Richard I. Levin, Keynote Speaker 

Gold Foundation President and CEO Dr. Richard I. Levin will address over 500 new first-year medical students at St. George’s University as they don their white coats for the first time.

The White Coat Ceremony, an iconic ritual created by the Gold Foundation, gives students an opportunity to reflect on the reasons they chose to enter medicine: to serve humanity. Hailing from countries all over the world, including the United States and Canada, the students will stand together as they commit to a life of service and life-long learning. Dr. Levin will share his insights and emphasize to the new physicians-in-training of the importance of humanism in medicine.
