Everyone knows about Black Friday and Cyber Monday, when people rush to do their holiday shopping. In 2012, a movement called Giving Tuesday was started to promote a day of giving at the start of the annual holiday season.
This year, GivingTuesday™ has a national presence: www.givingtuesday.org. To boost this national effort and celebrate the Foundation’s work, one of our donors will MATCH, dollar-for-dollar, every donation we receive through #GivingTuesday™, December 3rd.
The Arnold P. Gold Foundation works with healthcare professionals to ensure that compassion, respect and empathy are at the core of all health care interactions. Our goal is to restore and elevate what is most authentic and effective – a caring health team and a system that assures the compassionate connection between health professional and patient at every touch point.
The future of health care holds many uncertainties. What is certain is that it will be provided by people whose primary motivation is their humanity. We want to support and protect doctors, health professionals, and their patients; they all are under constant and increasing stresses that are beyond their control.
