Leonard Tow Humanism in Medicine Award Agreement

The Leonard Tow Humanism in Medicine Award presented by The Arnold P. Gold Foundation recognizes graduating medical students and faculty members who are exemplars of humanism in the delivery of care to patients. Visit Eligibility, Selection Criteria, Process, and How to Apply for more details.

To participate in the Tow Awards, the Gold Foundation requires approved schools to complete the below award agreement form in lieu of signing an annual grant agreement. This agreement will be in full force and effect for 3 years, subject to available funding and the program stipulations outlined below. Completing this form constitutes agreement that the medical school will follow the Tow Award program’s formal reporting process outlined in the Tow Procedures and Criteria.

If your medical school does not yet participate in the Tow program, visit Eligibility, Selection Criteria, Process, and How to Apply and scroll down to “How to Apply”.

This agreement must be signed by a dean of students or other authorized official on behalf of the school.

If you have questions or concerns with any of aspect of the agreement or about the process, please contact Michelle Sloane, Assistant Director, Program Initiatives or Louisa Tvito, Director of Program Initiatives and GHHS.

Please complete this agreement by March 1, 2023 to participate in the 2023 Tow Award season.
