Volunteer with us

The Arnold P. Gold Foundation welcomes volunteers and interns to join our mission and help keep healthcare human.

Volunteer openings

The Arnold P. Gold Foundation is seeking a volunteer to work one day a week (or more) in our office in Englewood Cliffs, NJ. This position is ideal for someone who has already completed their bachelor’s degree and is in a “gap year” before attending medical school or another graduate program.

Volunteering at the Gold Foundation will introduce you to the world of nonprofits through a wide variety of tasks. You will have the opportunity to work with several different departments; interact with Board members, healthcare leaders and donors; aid development in prospect research and appeal letters; assist with programmatic activities, including distributing awards and organizing grants; support communications and marketing efforts through social media; and much more. Specific tasks and assignments are based on each volunteer’s interests and skills.

If you are interested, please email your resume and a cover letter sharing why you are interested in the Gold Foundation and its mission to Diane Asciutto at dasciutto@gold-foundation.org.

Internships for credit

We are seeking communications, journalism and marketing interns for semester-long, for-credit projects. Our areas include social media, videography, photography, marketing, storytelling, and art/illustrations. Please send your resume, a cover letter detailing why you are interested in keeping healthcare human, and a link to your portfolio to Brianne Alcala, director of communications, at balcala@gold-foundation.org.

College students interested in specific learning experiences related to other topics, such as finance and development, should contact Diane Asciutto at dasciutto@gold-foundation.org.
